One of the easiest ways to beat the big, national companies is to be local. Use names of streets, mention the weather today, or talk about a local event. A giant corporation can't do that. They use generic language that works for everyone and ends up moving no one. When you talk like a local, you build a wall around your business that a computer script can't break through.
4. Quality Over Everything
You don't need to post every day. You don't need to be on every single app. It’s better to have one great conversation on one platform than to shout at an empty room on five of them.
